Interventions by States Parties on Article VII of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) within the 2019 Intersessional Process (ISP)

This dataset contains a 68,855 words text corpus of all verbal interventions made during the 2019 Intersessional Process (ISP) regarding Article VII of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), covering the following events:

• BWC Meeting of Experts on Assistance, Response and Preparedness (MX4) on 6–7 August 2019, and
• Consideration of the MX4 Factual Report during the BWC Meeting of States Parties (MSP) on 5 December 2019.

Additionally, it includes a processed version of the raw data prepared for a Multiple Streams Analysis on how the West African Ebola Crisis shaped the discourse on emergency assistance under the BWC. It entails 331 coded segments connected to the Ebola Crisis, clustered in four thematic areas.
