BLUFF BLUFF ist das Projekt vier junger Jazzmusiker mit Ankerplatz Hamburg. Das Quartett folgt eigenen Inspirationen, angelehnt an zeitgenössischen Jazz. Beispielsweise sind Vorbilder wie Kenny Wheeler oder Ambrose Akinmusire deutlich in der Musik erkennbar. Die Funktionsprinzipien der Besetzung sind nahezu unverschämt einfach: Die Musik wird gemeinsam gestaltet, der Melodie wird gedient. Dabei findet BLUFF nach jedem dynamischen Ausbruch zur raffinierten Einfachheit des eigenen Musikstils zurück.
