Im aktuellen Schulalltag werden Schulassistentinnen- und assistenten zahlreich als individuell unterstützende Begleit- und Assistenzpersonen von Kindern mit einem festgestellten Unterstützungsbedarf eingesetzt. Ziel dabei ist es, den betroffenen Schülerinnen und Schülern eine uneingeschränkte Teilhabe an sowohl unterrichtlichen als auch außerunterrichtlichen Aktivitäten zu ermöglichen. In Gruppendiskussionen mit Grundschülerinnen und Grundschülern wurde erforscht, welche Einflüsse die stetige Anwesenheit einer Begleitperson auf die soziale Partizipation an Peerkontakten besitzt. Die Auswertung der Gruppendiskussion erfolgte unter Anwendung der dokumentarischen Methode. In diesem Artikel werden in Ausschnitten der Diskursbeschreibungen erste Einblicke in die Ergebnisse gegeben.
In everyday school life, paraprofessionals are used widely for the support of children with special education needs with the aim to guarantee the affected students an unrestricted participation to both class and extracurricular activities. In group discussions with primary students it was explored which influence the contant presence of an paraprofessional has on the social participation of the chil in peer contacts. The group discussions were analysed with the use of the documentary method. This article presents excerpts of the discourse descriptions to give first insights into the results of the study.
