The Language of Images - Raw Image Data and Labels

Three chunks of raw image data and associated labels that were used in Keno Tetzlaff's first dissertation project (The Language of Images). Jointly, the three data chunks lay the foundation for a large-scale empirical assessment of 9 different image classification methods across a diverse set of image datasets.

Most of the datasets are publicly available (e.g., from Kaggle or supplementary data to marketing publications) while others are proprietary and cannot be shared.
