  • XRF (Elio from the University of Cologne: 40kV, 100 µA, single spots of 120s each) analysis of ink on 38 fragments of Herculaneum papyri from the collection of the Biblioteca Nazionale di Napoli in collaboration with the University of Cologne.

  • The research for this project was funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) within the Cluster of Excellence «Understanding Written Artefacts: Material, Interaction and Transmission in Manuscript Cultures».
