Wieviel Priorität legen Kliniker auf die kognitive Verhaltenstherapie in der Behandlung der Psychose und warum?

How much priority do clinicians give to cognitive behavioral therapy in the treatment of psychosis and why?
In light of the widely recognized implementation problem of cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBTp), the study investigated the priority given to CBTp compared to other treatment approaches in Germany and aimed to identify factors that might promote dissemination of CBTp. Clinical psychologists and psychiatrists (N = 195) across Germany gave relatively low priority to CBTp compared to other treatments. We found general CBT training, specialized CBTp training, and normalizing beliefs to be associated with a higher priority given to CBTp. Specialized CBTp training and normalizing beliefs specifically predicted higher priority for CBTp as opposed to other psychosocial treatments. Thus, general CBT and specialized CBTp trainings might help to improve the dissemination of CBTp. Trainings should also attend to the central rationales within CBT, such as normalizing beliefs.
