Since 2013 a cooperation has been established between the School of Education of the University of North Carolina and the Faculty of Education of the University of Hamburg. Every year students can spend four weeks in North Carolina to get to know the American school system and to gain new experiences in observing and teaching classes. Moreover, the project includes a buddy program and the opportunity to join seminars at the School of Education of the University of North Carolina as well as a visit from American students in Hamburg.
