  • An operator is derived that projects the Marchenko output kernel onto the Gel'fand-Levitan output kernel in their complete domains of definition. The application of this operator, which can be interpreted as an alternative input kernel, is discussed for generalized Bargmann-type potentials in view of representations that simplify numerical calculations. The relevant quantities, off-shell T matrices included, are expressed analytically and in unified form. © 1991 American Institute of Physics.
