  • The project Ethio-SPaRe: Cultural Heritage of Christian Ethiopia: Salvation, Preservation and Research was called into life at the Hiob Ludolf Centre for Ethiopian Studies of Hamburg University. Supported by the European Research Council (EU Seventh Framework Programme: Starting Independent Researcher Grant) and headed by Dr. Denis Nosnitsin, the winner of the grant, an international team of researchers has been dedicating considerable efforts to securing and analyzing the written heritage of Christian Ethiopia since the project launch in December 2009.
