This dissertation consists of three essays that employ empirical as well as theoretical research methods. Each essay studies different aspects of how we fund public goods. Common to all three works is the focus on cooperation that is not enforced by laws or by legally binding contracts.
Diese Dissertation besteht aus drei Essays, die sowohl empirische als auch theoretische Forschungsmethoden anwenden. In jedem Essay werden verschiedene Aspekte der Finanzierung öffentlicher Güter untersucht. Allen drei Arbeiten gemeinsam ist der Fokus auf eine Kooperation, die weder durch Gesetze noch durch rechtsverbindliche Verträge durchgesetzt wird.
