Aim of the CEAS Technical Committee Aircraft Design (TCAD) is harmonization in aircraft design research combined with collaboration in aircraft design education inspired by dedicated symposia and workshops. The committee manifests itself by means of its two regular activties: the Symposium on Collaboration in Aircraft Design (SCAD) and the European Workshop on Aircraft Design Education (EWADE). The Technical Committee Aircraft Design was approved on 7th March 2013 by the CEAS Board of Trustees. TCAD edits a Special Issue "Aircraft Design" in the journal "Aerospace" (ISSN: 1369-8869) at MDPI. TCAD maintains the Open Access versions of CEAS Proceedings (as far as available).
