System zur Zutrittsregelung zu einem gesicherten Bereich zur Ablieferung von Paketsendungen, • umfassend eine Zugangs Vorrichtung (106), • eine mit der Zugangsvorrichtung verbundene zentrale Servereinheit (109) und • mindestens eine mit der zentralen Servereinheit (109) verbundene Datenbank (110), • wobei die Zugangsvorrichtung (106) eine Leseeinheit (104) zur Erkennung einer Sendungsnummer einer abzugebenden Paketsendung (100) und eine Sendeeinheit (62) zur Übermittlung der erkannten Sendungsnummer gemeinsam mit einer die Zugangsvorrichtung (106) kennzeichnenden Identifikationsnummer an die zentrale Servereinheit (109) aufweist, • wobei die zentrale Servereinheit (109) zum Abgleich der Sendungsnummer mit der mindestens einen Datenbank (110, 111, 111', 111") ausgebildet ist, um zumindest den Empfängernamen und den Sendungsstatus abzufragen und • die zentrale Servereinheit (109) zum Ab gleich der Identifikationsnummer mit der mindestens einen Datenbank (110) ausgebildet ist, um Registrierungsinformationen abzufragen und • die zentrale Servereinheit (109) weiterhin zum Abgleich des Empfängernamens mit den Registrierungsinformationen ausgebildet ist, um zu ermitteln, ob der Sendungsempfänger am Standort der Zugangsvorrichtung (106) eine Empfangsadresse registriert hat, und • die zentrale Servereinheit (109) zur Übermittlung eines Freigabesignals an die Zugangsvorrichtung (106) ausgebildet ist, wobei die zentrale Servereinheit (109) das Freigabesignal an die Zugangsvorrichtung (106) übermittelt, wenn die Sendung (100) in Zustellung ist und der Sendungsempfänger am Standort der Zugangsvorrichtung eine Empfangsadresse registriert hat und • die Zugangs Vorrichtung (106) eine Empfangseinheit (62) zum Empfang des Freigabesignals und eine Steuereinheit (64) zur Ansteuerung eines Türöffners in Reaktion auf das Freigabesignal aufweist.
