Die Erfindung betrifft als Propharmaka einsetzbare Verbindungen, daraus herstellbare Arzneimittel und pharmazeutische Zusammensetzungen sowie pharmazeutische Darreichungsformen und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen. Die Erfindung stellt bioreversible maskierte Di- und Triphosphate, insbesondere Nukleosiddiphosphate (NDP) und Nukleosidtriphosphate (NTP) sowie entsprechende Analoga bereit, die beispielsweise zur Behandlung von Viruserkrankungen wie AIDS geeignet sind.
