High-ranking researchers from Germany and abroad are invited to the public symposium. As leading scholars and artists in the field of artistic research, keynote speeches will be held: Dr. Paulo des Assis (Orpheus Institute), Prof. Toro-Pérez (Zurich University of the Arts), Prof. Dr. Anke Haarmann (HAW Hamburg), Henrik Frisk (Royal College of Music Stockholm) and Prof. Simha Arom, who will be honoured for his lifework. The University of Music and Drama will be represented by Prof. Dr. Hajdu, Prof. Dr. Sprick and Samuel Penderbayne as well as doctoral students and members of the graduate college KiSS - Kinetics in Sound & Space. On the two days, different facets of artistic research, which finds an increasing scientific-political relevance in Germany, will be presented and discussed.
The English-speaking lecture program will be supplemented by a concert with artistic works by doctoral students and guests, which will take place on Friday, 31 January 2020 in the Multifunktionsstudio of the University.
